Oh I love interior design! Can't wait to see what you write about. Years ago when we were selling a property I finally got around to styling it and was like wtf, why did I wait until we're selling to do this. I haven't made that mistake again, but interior design feels like something that is ongoing. Every time I refresh a space, I find myself a few months later finding ways to keep improving it and personalising it, and I think that's what you've done with your writing as well! Aww thanks Mia. Lol yeah there are two of me on Substack now, not confusing at all 😂 Just made no sense to combine them and then create a really messed up profile where I am putting on two very different hats (and don't get me started on how much I dislike seeing two publications on one profile, or even worse, two different publications on the homepage! 🫣). It's kinda exciting getting to build from scratch again on Substack and take alllll the learnings into it.
Dallas, you are my inspiration! I’m lamenting Fable being taken down too... it was such a good experience to finally have a tool that truly got us. You made more progress with it than I did, and I’m so happy for you and your next adventure.
I’m still not over how similar our journeys are, how we move from one thing and embrace the new. It’s calming and... encouraging because I operate the same way. I don’t have my content fully figured out, I want to create organically, but it’s not always sustainable.
NEON White feels so like you... but I guess you needed to be Daring Next to dust off NEON White, and isn’t it amazing how things work out that way? I was crying reading your piece and then laughing at the same time. 😭🩵

Fable - I hesitated to use it for all of five minutes and then everything just took off. It was so strange after a full day working at pace how much had been achieved and how odd it felt physically - I couldn't touch it the next day as I needed time out and for all the decisions just to settle a little. Then I got a little more done the next day before it all got turned off!
Yes, Daring Next and NEON White needed each other, I think. I'm so curious to see if/how they need each other going forward as I haven't got that part figured out quite yet.
