Dallas, you're so brilliant, you keep surprising me with your adventures!
I also have to say: the structure and voice of your posts are so clearly on brand now. It’s not just the stories themselves, it’s the way they feel instantly yours. It’s really lovely to see how far you’ve come. 🩷🦩
I spend a lot of time thinking about the structure/images/formatting and I'm so glad it's working for the brand as I have tried a lot! Appreciate the feedback so much 🩷
The outputs were honestly painful to read, I’ll admit I skipped them and just read your essay, because I got lost in the first few sentences. Thanks for doing this, Dallas, it really matters to understand what comes out of the machine!
Totally get that, Anna! It's kinda awful seeing them all clustered together too. I debated hiding the results under a button to make the post shorter, but then decided that people don't really click through on buttons and these needed to be seen. Lots of AI nothingness rambling on in a very same-same way that absolutely nobody needs to read but everyone needs to understand.
Yeah, the interesting part for me was how it felt like skimming through them with JOMO. The outputs were structurally similar, and seeing the pattern rather than something creative created a feeling of ugh. Thanks goodness for your human take on it!
Each model's comfortable default is just so predictable, and you can't unsee it. I had no idea Gemini was such a philosopher either, until I saw what it continually chose!
I think JOMO is such a fabulous way of describing the skim 😆
I love to share the words of my favorite writers in Notes. So I read looking for a sentence or paragraph that stands up and bashes me on the head. There is so much in this piece that is so good - I am going back to read again to look for the germ in the wheat.
And - as an aside - I am studying your layout. It is snappy and inviting. I am drawn in.
Dallas! This was SUCH an interesting experiment. Thank you for putting in the work and sharing your findings — especially for doing it in a way that is compelling and human 😉
Thanks so much, Amanda! Yes, a human (and one with big feels on the subject) was definitely here! So glad you enjoyed it - I just so wanted one of the AI results to actually dramatically burn something to cinders, even a match, like is it so hard?! 😂🫣

Thank you! I surprise myself too 🤣

Awww Cecilia, thank you! That's a lovely compliment and I'm curious to see what you pick out!
Thanks for noticing the layout too - I'm very intentional about it and it's lovely to know that it does help with the whole reader experience.
Hope the image experimenting is going well! 🩷
